Flapjacks

Awesome recipe for pancakes!


1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup vanilla almond milk
2 tbsp vegetable oil

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt and blend. Add milk and oil and mix until batter is smooth. Cook on each side until golden brown.

I use a griddle to cook the pancakes but if you don't have one you can use a frying pan as well. I made a double batch and for the first try I made just plain pancakes but after you pour the batter in the pan/griddle you can add toppings like bananas, strawberries, blueberries, peanut butter or cinnamon that make them even more delicious.
